Hi, it's been a while, eh?
LOTS going on here. New products in my Etsy shop, new products in my FAA shop, joining a Design Team (more details on that another day!), lots of art journalling...
But first, take a walk with me...this was August 26th, the day after my birthday. We spent the weekend camping in the Peak District and went for a beautiful walk through Dovedale on a friend's recommendation...(for those who don't know, that's my daughter in the polka dot boots and my husband in the grey hoodie)

For one week earlier this month, my Sketchbook Project came for a visit to Canada Water Library in London, along with all the other European sketchbooks involved in the 2012 Sketchbook Project World Tour. So of course I had to go and see it. I hadn't seen it since I sent it off to the Art House Co-op Library in Brooklyn, USA, back in January.
I saw some amazing sketchbooks and met up with some other participants, Vicky and Sarah, who were lovely.

| Me and my sketchbook - reunited one last time |
I had a great day there with my little family, and then went off for dinner on the South Bank and for an evening stroll around the Tate Modern.
Meanwhile, back at Top Floor Treasures HQ, I landed myself a wholesale account and because of that I'm now able to expand my product lines. I'm really getting into using Decopatch products as an alternative way to make art. So the first new range is pretty bangles!

I missed out on the sketchbook project tour, Good luck with the bangles they look great, wish I could get a wholesale account they like you to just through hoops, Had thought I could get one through SAA but I have to prove I have taught in 3 places and I only did one and working for myself ,and they wont accept that Doh talk about impossible Good luck with your new range x
ReplyDeleteHi Janice :) I'm so sorry you missed the sketchbooks coming to London. Thanks for the luck, no sales yet so we'll see. I don't know what SAA is...yes jumping through hoops is not fun. I lucked out with this one, but another wanted minimum £500 orders and I could only resell the items, not use them! No good to me just yet! x
Deletehi Zoe!
ReplyDeletethose bangles look soooooooooooooo pretty!
hope you had fun,
Hannah-the little artist

Hello Hannah, lovely to hear from you! Thank you so much for your nice comment about my bangles, I think they're pretty too (but they are too small to fit over MY hands - boooo!)
DeleteHope you're still arting! I've been too busy to check out other people's blogs lately, but I promise to check in with you soon x
